Bulkeley, it consisted of six motor boats: PT-31, PT-32, PT-33, PT-34, PT-35, and PT-41, with PT-31 serving as the flagship. After the Battle of the Solomon Islands, MTBRon 3(2) was decommissioned, later reactivated as 2(2) in the Atlantic.
