  • Luna 24 was a robotic probe of the Soviet Luna program, is the final spacecraft in the Luna series with the mission same as the Soviet Union's 3rd attempt to return lunar soil samples from the Moon (previous sample return missions were Luna 16 and Luna 20). The probe landed in Mare Crisium and successfully returned 170.1 g (6 ounces) of lunar samples to Earth on August 22, 1976.

  • Designed and authorized by NightHawk11991, the 1/20 Luna 24 model, based on the Ye-8-5 spacecraft body, consists 2 additional stages, with the ascent stage mounted on top of the descent stage. With a height of 3.96m and an unfueled landing mass of 1880km. When fully fueled, its launch mass is between 5600 and 5750 km. The descent stage is similar to the Ye-8 lower stage of the lunar rover, featuring a cylindrical shape with 4 protruding landing legs, fuel tanks, a landing radar altimeter, and a twin descent engine assembly. The excellent smooth model in consistent color offers high visual appeal and collectible value.
