Rather than constructing the entire city as one fixed structure, the model is divided into seven major rings or levels. Each level is itself assembled from large modular sections, making this enormous project easier to organize, move, store, and display. Individual rings can also function as standalone display sections while the complete city is being built.

At approximately 231.8 × 116.7 × 131.2 cm / 91.2 × 45.9 × 51.7 in, the finished Part A is far beyond the scale of a conventional castle set. Its sweeping walls, layered terraces, towers, arches, courtyards, and ascending city structure create a true centerpiece for serious Lord of the Rings and fantasy architecture collectors.

The city is divided into seven distinct levels, recreating the dramatic ascending layout of the legendary fortified city.

MACRO-MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
Each ring is further divided into large modular blocks, allowing individual sections to be moved more easily for exhibitions, storage, or rearrangement.

EACH RING CAN STAND ALONE
Builders can complete and display individual levels separately while gradually progressing toward the complete structure.

VISIBLE & STRUCTURAL PIECE SYSTEM
The original design separates pieces into visible exterior elements and hidden structural elements:

• Visible elements: approximately 87,936 pieces
• Structural elements: approximately 11,608 pieces

Hidden structural elements do not need to match the exterior color scheme, since they are not visible once construction is complete.

From the Designer

STEBRICK created The Seven Rings – Part A as the first half of a much larger architectural project. Because of the extraordinary number of pieces and finished dimensions, the designer separated the build into Part A and a later Part B, allowing builders to approach the complete project progressively.

The modular system was also designed with exhibitions and transportation in mind. Each ring is divided into macro sections, while the distinction between visible and hidden structural pieces helps simplify sourcing and reduce unnecessary color restrictions inside the model.
