The model captures the Venator’s unmistakable wedge-shaped hull, gray-and-dark-red Republic color scheme, twin command towers, exposed engine section, extensive weapon batteries, and long central flight deck. More than a static display model, MAP Tec developed this project around extensive motorized and interactive functions, including its signature opening main hangar.

A custom black display stand supports the enormous cruiser in an elevated flight position, giving the completed model the presence of a true flagship centerpiece.

FULLY MOTORIZED RC CONCEPT
Unlike a conventional static starship model, this Venator was designed around motorized functionality, bringing mechanical interaction to the massive capital ship.

OPENABLE MAIN HANGAR
One of the model’s standout features is the large central hangar. The long red flight-deck sections can open to reveal the interior hangar area, recreating one of the Venator’s most recognizable features.

GUNSHIP LAUNCHING FEATURE
The designer specifically developed the main hangar around the dramatic concept of gunships deploying from inside the cruiser, adding another layer of interaction to the finished model.

MOVABLE WEAPON TURRETS
Multiple weapon emplacements are positioned around the upper hull, with movable turret elements that allow the cruiser to be posed in different battle configurations.

ADJUSTABLE DECK ANTENNAS
Four antenna structures along the upper deck can be repositioned, adding extra mechanical detail to the ship’s long dorsal surface.

OPENING HULL SECTIONS
Selected hull panels can be opened to expose internal structural and mechanical detailing, allowing more of the engineering behind the model to be viewed.

DETAILED REPUBLIC WARSHIP DESIGN
The gray hull, dark-red flight deck, circular Republic-inspired markings, twin command towers, side trench detailing, and layered armor reproduce the distinctive appearance associated with the Republic Attack Cruiser.

LARGE ENGINE ARRAY
The stern features a detailed multi-engine configuration with translucent blue elements that recreate the powerful propulsion system of the Venator.

CUSTOM DISPLAY STAND
A substantial black support stand is included in the model design, elevating the cruiser above the display surface and creating a convincing in-flight presentation.

CLONE WARS-ERA CENTERPIECE

MAP Tec created this RC Venator-Class Star Destroyer as one of his largest and most technically ambitious projects. His goal was not only to recreate the appearance of the Venator, but also to reproduce as many recognizable functions from the movies and series as possible.

The project places particular emphasis on the motorized main hangar, deployable gunship concept, movable weapon systems, interactive hull sections, and a detailed exterior suitable for large-scale display.
