Built at approximately 1:375 scale, the model measures around 78.6 cm long and was developed as a more refined successor to the designer’s original 2020 Queen Victoria project, incorporating improved proportions, newer building techniques, and additional functional details.

A Modern Cunard Passenger Ship

MS Queen Victoria combines the appearance of traditional ocean travel with the amenities and layout of a modern cruise ship. Although she is not a true ocean liner in the traditional sense, her bow incorporates heavier plating intended to support direct transatlantic crossings.

A Completely Redesigned Model

The original Queen Victoria was one of bru_bri_mocs’ earliest large ship projects. After completing more than 50 additional MOCs and developing new design techniques, the designer returned to the vessel and rebuilt it at a smaller, more refined scale with improved structure and detailing.

Detailed 1:375 Scale Recreation

The model captures the ship’s long hull, layered superstructure, bridge, funnel, open decks, stern, lifeboat areas, and other recognizable exterior features while maintaining balanced proportions throughout the build.

Movable Stabilizer Fins

The model includes adjustable stabilizer fins, recreating one of the functional systems used on the real ship and adding an interactive mechanical detail beneath the hull.

Openable Glass Roof

The upper-deck lido pool area features an openable glass roof, bringing another distinctive architectural feature of Queen Victoria into the model.

Classic Brick-Built Styling

The ship is constructed largely from traditional bricks, plates, tiles, slopes, and wedge elements, giving the finished model a clean scale-model appearance without relying excessively on specialized shaping pieces.

Designed for an Enjoyable Building Journey

Extensive use of subassemblies helps break the large vessel into manageable construction stages. The original design includes a detailed three-part instruction guide with 740 building steps, helping make the substantial project easier to follow.

From the Designer

bru_bri_mocs originally created Queen Victoria in 2020 as one of his earliest large-scale ship designs. That first version measured around 1.2 meters long and used comparatively simple construction techniques.

After gaining experience from dozens of additional projects, the designer decided to completely reboot Queen Victoria at 1:375 scale, improving the proportions, structure, exterior detailing, and overall building experience while adding features such as movable stabilizer fins and the opening roof above the lido pool.
