Built at approximately 1:17 scale, the model captures the heavy-duty character of a Class 7 truck while integrating an unusually rich mechanical layout. Opening body panels, a locking fifth wheel, removable cab, and drivetrain-connected engine make the finished vehicle as interesting mechanically as it is visually.

4×4 Drivetrain with Geared Hubs

All four wheels are driven through differentials and wheel-end reduction gearing, creating a realistic medium-duty drivetrain while improving mechanical detail at each axle.

Nico71 created MOC-155171 as a functional recreation of the Chevrolet Kodiak C70, a medium-duty truck platform widely used for work trucks, cargo haulers, dump trucks, and semitractor applications.

The project was also inspired by the designer’s interest in SnowRunner, leading to a model that emphasizes practical truck engineering: four-wheel drive, suspended live axles, a locking fifth wheel, removable powertrain components, and a modular cab-and-chassis layout.
