Designed and authorized by Lukas2020 (Lukas RS Design), this impressive 3,105-piece model recreates the Audi Formula 1 Team R26 at 1:8 scale, combining distinctive silver-gray and red racing bodywork with advanced mechanical engineering.
Distinctive Audi Formula 1 Design
The model captures the aerodynamic appearance of the Audi R26, featuring a streamlined nose, sculpted bodywork, distinctive sidepods, and detailed front and rear wings. Its silver-gray and red color scheme creates a striking representation of Audi's entry into Formula 1 racing.
Interactive Dual-Mode Active Aerodynamics
One of the model's standout features is its mechanically operated active aerodynamic system. A gear inside the cockpit controls the interconnected front and rear wings through a small gearbox, allowing two different configurations.
In Dry Mode, both front and rear wings open and close together. In Wet Mode, only the front wing opens and closes, demonstrating the model's adjustable aerodynamic mechanism.
Unique Sidepod Design and Upgraded Rear Wing
Compared with other Formula 1 models in the same series, the Audi R26 features a distinctive sidepod construction and a revised rear wing. These design differences give the model its own recognizable silhouette while preserving its functional aerodynamic features.
Realistic Suspension and V6 Engine
The model features front and rear push-rod suspension systems supported by larger shock absorbers. A simulated V6 engine and detailed radiator assemblies add mechanical depth beneath the aerodynamic bodywork.
