Measuring approximately 55.2 × 27 × 38.5 cm, the fortress combines dramatic vertical architecture with a richly detailed interior. Its European-inspired color scheme, rocky terrain, greenery, and torch details give the entire structure the atmosphere of a fortified royal settlement built high above the surrounding lands.

Two-Part Modular Construction

The model is built in two main sections — the base and upper structure. These can be separated to reveal the detailed interiors more clearly and make the large finished model easier to move and display.

Built Into the Mountain Landscape

Rocky terrain and scattered vegetation help establish the fortress as a true mountain stronghold, while greenery growing around the walls softens the imposing stone architecture.

European-Inspired Medieval Architecture

Artbrix selected the color palette and architectural styling to evoke historic buildings found across various European regions, giving Monsburgh a believable yet original medieval identity.

From the Designer

Artbrix envisioned the Citadel of Monsburgh as the central stronghold of the Monsburgh kingdom — home to its knights and ruling monarch. The design was created as a complete fortified settlement, combining military defenses with royal living spaces, workshops, service areas, and religious architecture.

The fortress was also intentionally divided into two large sections to make interior access and transportation easier, while preserving the monumental appearance of the completed build.
