Recreate a modern long-haul airliner with the MOC-248342 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Qantas Livery Building Blocks Set. Designed and authorized by boudjeml, this 1,862-piece model presents the 787-9 at approximately 1:100 scale in Qantas’ distinctive red-and-white livery.
The model has been fully test-built and includes a wide range of functional aircraft details. The landing gear can retract and tilt, while the rudder, spoilers, inner and outer flaps, and flaperons can all be adjusted. The twin engines also feature working reverse-thrust mechanisms for an additional layer of mechanical interaction.
Measuring approximately 63 cm long and 61 cm wide, the aircraft has substantial display presence. The wings are designed for easy removal, making transportation and storage more convenient, while the model is also compatible with the designer’s dedicated display stand.

From the Designer
Boudjeml developed this 787-9 as a fully tested 1:100-scale model combining accurate shaping with interactive aircraft functions. The Qantas version was inspired in part by the airline’s Dreamliner Waltzing Matilda, while the modular wing design was added to make such a large aircraft easier to store and transport.
