Recreate one of New York City’s most recognizable Gothic landmarks with the MOC-276548 NYC Saint Patrick's Cathedral Building Blocks. Designed and authorized by Space enthusiast, this massive 18,558-piece model recreates Saint Patrick’s Cathedral with its soaring twin spires, intricate Gothic facade, expansive interior, and monumental architectural presence.

Rather than focusing only on the exterior, the model was designed as a complete architectural recreation. Removable sections and an accessible roof reveal a richly developed interior filled with columns, the grand organ, chapel spaces, and a crypt, making the cathedral equally impressive inside and out.

Iconic Gothic Cathedral Architecture

The model captures the cathedral’s defining Gothic character through its twin spires, pointed arches, layered facade detailing, tall windows, and strong vertical proportions.

Complete Interior Recreation

Inside, the cathedral features an extensive series of structural columns and architectural details that recreate the scale and atmosphere of the real interior rather than leaving the building as an empty shell.

Grand Organ & Chapel Details

A large brick-built organ forms one of the interior focal points, accompanied by chapel areas and other carefully constructed spaces throughout the cathedral.

Integrated Crypt

The model also includes a crypt beneath the main structure, adding another architectural layer and allowing builders to explore parts of the cathedral that are less visible from the exterior.

Modular Three-Section Construction

To make such a large model easier to build, move, and explore, the cathedral is divided into three major structural blocks plus the roof. The sections can be separated to provide much better access to the interior.

Removable Roof

The roof can be lifted away from the main structure, allowing the nave, columns, organ, and other interior features to be viewed from above.

Weathered Roof Detailing

Olive-green elements are incorporated into parts of the roof to recreate the appearance of natural aging and algae. Builders who prefer a cleaner roof appearance can substitute these pieces with black elements.

From the Designer

Space enthusiast spent approximately six months developing this large-scale project, with the goal of creating a complete recreation of New York City’s Saint Patrick’s Cathedral rather than simply reproducing its famous exterior.

Particular attention was given to the interior, including the columns, grand organ, chapel, and crypt. Because of the model’s scale, it was intentionally divided into three large blocks and a removable roof to simplify both construction and interior access.

With 18,558 pieces, an extensively detailed interior, modular construction, and the unmistakable twin-spire silhouette of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, this model is an impressive centerpiece for Gothic architecture enthusiasts, landmark collectors, and builders who enjoy exceptionally large architectural projects.
