This massive 11,726-piece build presents not only the castle itself, but an extensive recreation of the surrounding Hogwarts grounds, making it a centerpiece-scale model for Harry Potter collectors and advanced builders.
The sprawling scene brings together the towering castle complex, rocky terrain, bridges, boathouse, Quidditch pitch, Whomping Willow, Hagrid’s Hut, Owlery, and sections of the surrounding forest. Instead of focusing on a single facade, the build creates a broader interpretation of Hogwarts and its recognizable landscape from the Harry Potter world.
Measuring approximately 25.5 × 28.5 × 12 in / 64.8 × 72.4 × 30.5 cm, the finished model has a substantial footprint and dense architectural detail, making it particularly suited to dedicated display rooms, fantasy collections, and large-scale Hogwarts castle model displays.

From the Original MOC Credits
The original MOC-45950 page credits a Hogwarts model by MatthieuBL, later shared and developed with permission by EmilyW, with final editing, error corrections, and the addition of Hagrid’s Hut by citizenfive.
This collaborative development resulted in an expanded Hogwarts build focused on combining the castle with a much broader representation of its surrounding grounds.

Important Note
All standard red elements identified as hidden structural pieces are internal and may be substituted with other colors without changing the visible appearance of the finished model. Dark red exterior elements are not included in this substitution note.
The original designer notes recommend keeping the olive green elements where possible, as replacing them can noticeably change the appearance of the landscape.
