Designed and authorized by Nico71, this 2,697-piece model recreates a rugged 4×4 utility truck inspired by the GAZ Sadko, combining a functional crane, a versatile tipping bed, and detailed mechanical systems.
Realistic 4×4 Drivetrain and V8 Engine
The model features an all-wheel-drive mechanical drivetrain connected to a simulated V8 engine beneath the opening hood. Manual steering can be operated through the cab's steering wheel or the external Hand of God control, demonstrating the truck's interconnected mechanical structure.
Motorized Crane with Extendable Boom
A truck-mounted crane adds impressive lifting functionality. Its motorized rotation uses a worm gear mechanism, while linear actuators control the movement of the two-section crane arm. The second boom section can also be extended manually using a friction knob and rack-and-pinion mechanism.
Two-Way Tipping Cargo Bed
The versatile cargo bed can tilt backward or sideways, allowing builders to explore different unloading configurations. Locking pins select the tipping direction, while a motor-driven linear actuator raises the bed to simulate real construction-site operations.
