The designer was inspired by the memorable city bus seen in the movie Speed, turning that idea into a compact display model with enough interior room for multiple figures. Its retro appearance and practical passenger layout make it an ideal addition to city streets, transportation displays, and vintage vehicle collections.

Classic 1960s American Transit Style

The model captures the rounded body shape, large passenger windows, and distinctive front profile associated with classic General Motors city buses from the era.

Despite its compact vehicle scale, the interior was designed with enough room to accommodate multiple figures, helping create convincing public-transport scenes.

Double_U_Bricks created this model after thinking of the General Motors bus featured in Speed. The goal was to build a classic American city bus in a compact scale while still leaving plenty of room inside for multiple figures.
