Build a Cold War British V-Bomber
Recreate the distinctive profile of the Vickers Valiant with the MOC-268600 Vickers Valiant Building Blocks. Designed by Al3xW40, this 5,149-piece military aircraft model brings one of Britain’s classic Cold War strategic bombers to life through a large, highly functional build.
Explore the Cockpit and Interior
A removable cockpit roof provides access to the interior, which includes seating for five figures, while the cockpit door can also be opened. These details add another layer of realism beyond the aircraft’s recognizable swept-wing exterior.
Working Landing Gear and Bomb Bay
The front and rear landing gear can be retracted or deployed using a mechanism accessed from the top of the fuselage. Rotating the tip of the tail operates the bomb bay doors, revealing space for three sets of bombs inside.
Movable Flight Control Surfaces
Each wing includes three movable flaps, while the tail features an adjustable rudder and elevators. The bomb bay mechanism and surrounding structure have also been physically tested by the designer for stability under operation.
A 5,149-Piece Aircraft Display Model
With its large wingspan, functional mechanisms, and Cold War aviation theme, the Vickers Valiant makes an impressive centerpiece for military aircraft and historical aviation collections.
Best For
Adult builders, Cold War aviation fans, military aircraft collectors, RAF enthusiasts, bomber model fans, MOC builders, engineering model enthusiasts, and large display model collectors.
